National Recording Artist TX Renegade (Derron Griffin)  hails  from the back wood bayous of Beaumont TX but currently resides in Houston Texas . A mixture of  Rap, Rock and Country there's a touch of 3 genres will have for all tastes.Griffin has some big shoes to fill coming from the same home town area as Country Music Legend & Hall Of Famer George Jones.Not to mention 3 other Platinum Country artist Mark Chessnut, Tracy Byrd,& Clay Walker . And for the world of Hip Hop right down the the interstate lies the town that produced famous platinum rap duo UGK Bun B and The Late Pimp C. I guess i'm combining a little of it all! Griffin says.. I grew up listening to all the old country artist and Motown as well ...Grew up like any other Redneck kid going bare feet catching fish and snakes in the bayous and an occasional alligator.. Hell I think we were chewing plug tobacco at 5..Although he's shared the stage with the biggest in the industry it wasn"t until he opened up for Legend David Allen Coe and talked Coe into letting him remake the hit "The Ride"... Already done but not being released until the next album, It will put shock waves in Country Music lovers when they hear how hard it is to distinguish who's actually singing on the track.. With a tour schedule to promote new New single Redneck Rebel he will be in the same company as the Genres most elite....Even though I grew up mud dogging in my jeep with 44 , I like to talk approach a little more diverse area of Hick Hop than just Mudding! Don't get me wrong! I still talk about it but I try to mix it from different point of views.. I'm calling my brand Redneck Krunk to add a little more excitement.. TX Renegade has already proved his music and independent status by selling close to 50,000 units of Redneck Rap and Redneck Psychopath moving close to 100,000 units independently.After spending years of chasing a injury riddled Football Career he decided to pursue his other love which was music... After 7 Knee surgeries, Achilles tendon and reconstructed Shoulder surgery he finally got the message!.... After seeing Bubba Sparxxx's video "Ugly" back when his football career was coming to a end  the timing couldn't have been better!... "Between seeing  Bubba's video and a skit of DMX and his aggression in the studio" I knew I had my next dream to chase! I was missing the mind set of chasing football and all the hard work I put into it! I found the way to fill the void and it was with music....After putting out his own Record on his own label Renegade Records, he soon found a local distributor in Houston called  Hustle Town Distribution which was also the home to Dope House Records. It was also home of High Profile Platinum selling Latino Rapper SPM... It was a match made to be proven successful.... After his sales reached over 20,000 he got a call from New No Limit Records CEO and Manager and Uncle to  Rapper Master P. (Greg Lyons No Limit CEO) and Renegade decided to try to shop a good distribution deal and Greg would manage his career.. But after a brief disagreement the two went separate  ways.... While keeping his music local and declining several offers from Major Label He decided to keep doing it on his own.... One thing that came out of the venture was getting Platinum Producer Myke Diesel of Diesel Productions to put a slamming hit together when he was the primary producer for Master P...Diesel has since put out several hits with several Rap A Lot Recording artist and other major industry artist... After traveling through the South doing shows he was introduced to Roland Bob of Face Mobb Records and home to southern Rap Godfather "Scarface". After releasing a Scarface produced song and a video that had TX Renegade having cameras rolling while he showed his love of alligators the track will be released on the next album (see the video that was wrecked due to the whole crew finding their way to the Moonshine much shine on the site). Things were going extremly well until  TX Renegade would be derailed with a posseion charge and sentenced to two years in a Texas Prison.... Thats where I began a book and wrote hundred of songs. (wasn't anything else to do except let my mind beat me in half for making a stupid decision) .. but i made the best of it as much as I hated it!  With one track Cocaine Cowgirl getting regional radio upon his release and recording a new album then produced by Unanimous (Universal records) after performing and finishing a duo album with Unanimus (a product out of California) Before the album release Unanimus went back to his roots in California to work with Universal Records... Although the two did a track with fellow Texas Rapper and UGK member Bun B it was never released.... The southeast TX native decided to stick back with his Country roots and stick with the Now successful brand of Country/Hick Hop Rap or as he calls his style "Redneck Krunk". Don't get me wrong I love Country/Hick Hop Rap but I want to be able to do my hooks with a little different style! (That's why I call it Redneck Krunk) To watch TX Renegade on stage is what sets him apart from other Hick Hop Rap Artist! His powerful stage performances which always include "his own brand of Mosh Pitts" (Redneck Moshing) His aggressive approach to performing on stage rubs off on his fans as proven when he grabs a microphone upon his entrance! ... Now back in the lime light and painting his face like the Rebel Flag to show his love of Heritage to his Southern roots! TX Renegade's music game is finally back on track... He has shared the stage with the biggest artist in the business from Rock,Rap,and Country.....
